I missed this spring. I missed the blossoms and the spring sun. The longer I remained in lockdown, the more pleasant it seemed to take care of home plants and the more interesting the texture of natural materials in the house appeared. Floral ornaments of the panel pictures, new sprouts of fresh flowers, and the texture of wood on artificial materials - all attracted attention.

Lockdown had stopped the world and freed my schedule. There was time for everything, even for such a forgotten, once cherished form of school entertainment as monotonous coloring of the squares in a school graph notebook.

Lockdown had compressed space. Being locked inside the house contrasted with the infinity of the spring sky which I could now observe at any time.

We had become hostages, but were we taken hostage by Nature? Had we not ourselves upset the natural balance and become participants in the response of the ecosystem striving for equilibrium?
