In February 2022, I left Kyiv because of the outbreak of war. Over the course of the year, I changed more than one place to live. I stayed somewhere for a week, somewhere for a month, somewhere for two. The rooms in my memory were superimposed on each other, creating a generalised image of Home as such. Hence the idea for this series of collages: photographs of temporary housing - both in Ukraine and abroad - became the elements for my new visual Home. Fragments of the rooms I lived in are combined in the images ‘Bedroom’, ‘Children's room’, ‘Kitchen’, etc. All the images in the series constitute a conditional ‘Floor Plan’ of my apartment, which I left in February. The over-saturated colours reflected the over-emotions and the feeling of unrealism of everything that was happening. Each collage has a double title:

Bathroom or Red (Nuclear) Button
Guest room or Furnace of War
Landscape or Burning
