"KINDS OF KINDNESS". Part 3 - R.M.F. eats a sandwich

Неймовірно захоплива розповідь про пошук Україною Месії - людини, яка зможе оживити, розбудити мертву росію. Нагадаю, що саме персонажа R.M.F. (росію) наприкінці першої частини фільму двічі переїхав автівкою Роберт і саме його, у третій частині, змогла оживити Рут - одна з близнюків.

Емілі – це Україна

Омі – це США

Ака – це Китай

Сюзен – це Франція

Рут та Ребекка – подружжя Навальних

Вода – світові фінансові потоки

Зараженість Сюзен, а потім і Емілі – корупція всередині Франції та України.

Тепер докладніше:

Про Україну або Емілі (героїню Емми Стоун): Знервована. Поспішає. Стиль водіння – швидкісний, із заносами. Залишила свій дім у пошуку людини, яка може воскрешати. Повернутися додому зможе тільки коли її знайде. Залежить від води, яку надають Ака та Омі. Цією ж водою окропляє дитяче ліжко як святою водою.

Саме така Україна зараз. В неї мало часу. Кожен день гинуть люди, гине країна. Залежить від фінансової допомоги партнерів. Їздить на автівці з номерами XNC - T62, де XNC - символ передової цифрової держави (XNC-крипта), а Т62 - назва старого радянського танка - символ застарілої спадщини СРСР. Шукає різні варіанти порятунку. І одним із варіантів спасіння було (зараз вже зрозуміло, що це марно й не актуально) бажання достукатися до росіян. Знайти лідера, який зміг би оновити росію, змінити її курс, надати шанс воскреснути та побудувати омріяну ними «Прекрасную Россию будущего». І такими лідерами мало стати подружжя Навальних. У смерті Рут в фіналі фільму втілена вся безпорадність та провал російської ліберальної опозиції.

Чому я порівнюю близнюків із подружжям Навальних?

• по-перше, історія про те, що стати Обраною можна тільки якщо один із близнюків буде мертвий, співпадає з реаліями минулого року. Ю.Навальна мала шанс стати лідером тільки якщо її чоловіка не стане. І таке сталося. Навіть двічі (як і у фільмі). Перший раз Ребекка стрибнула у пустий басейн під час дівочої вечірки - перша невдала спроба російської влади отруїти О.Навального. Другий раз добровільне рішення Ребекки вбити себе дуже нагадує свідоме рішення Олексія повернутися до росії, де на нього чекала смерть;

• по-друге, підказка режисера щодо зросту та ваги. Для чого була сцена із містером Вебером? Обидві його доньки-близнючки померли і їхати до нього, начебто, не мало сенсу. Ан-ні, мало, бо саме тут ми дізнаємось, що параметри Обраної це 5 футів 9 дюймів (175 см) і вага приблизно 130 фунтів (59 кг). Інформація з Вікіпедії - зріст Ю.Навальної 175 см. Про вагу не пишуть, але теж схоже.

• по-третє, як кажуть на росії «Муж и жена – одна сатана». Люди, які довго перебувають у шлюбі, дійсно стають як близнюки, вони половинки одного цілого;

• четверте, дуже суб’єктивне, певна візуальна схожість екранної героїні, її зачіски та кольору волосся;

• додам сюди і те ще, що імена Rebecca та Ruth невипадково знов починаються із літери R, що пов’язує їх із персонажами першої частини фільму. І саме R є певним маркером образу росії у фільмі.

  
  

Семантика води, на мою думку, пов'язана зі світовими фінансовими потоками.  У третій частині вода усюди:

• нею наповнюють чан із світового океану. У неймовірній сцені біля круглого чану Землі постають дві протилежні постаті Омі та Ака як лідери протилежних частин світу (США-Китай);

• на воді вже стоїть готова яхта для Обраної із найводянішою назвою Н-О-Н (можна написати й Н2О);

• воду роздають нужденним (у тому числі й Україні, правда, в дуже маленьких об’ємах);

• бюст Обраної буде зроблений із льоду;

• вода очищує. Вода виходить із пòтом у сауні, оновлює зсередини як у випадку зі Сюзен. Зараженість Сюзен (Франція) і зараженість Емілі (Україна) – проблема одного порядку. Ім’я її – корупція. Згадаємо великі корупційні скандали у Франції за участю Н.Саркозі;

• вода заражає. У випадку з Емілі, через сперму (що складається на 90% з води) свого чоловіка вона стає забрудненою. Він ґвалтує її в їх спільному домі. Тобто, в той час коли хтось шукає порятунок для всієї країни, інші, всередині неї, своїми корупційними схемами руйнують державу та нівелюють довіру світу. Що ми бачимо на екрані? Невдалу спробу Емілі пройти очищення у сауні. Що ми бачимо у реальності? Невдалі спроби подолати корупцію в Україні. Страшною, як на мене, є можливість залишитися наодинці як перед ворогом зовні, так й з корупційним ворогом всередині. Саме про це репліка Емілі до доньки, її вимога триматися якомога далі від батька, бо він забруднений. Його сперма, його піт, вся вода всередині нього - забруднені!

  Наостанок, наведу слова Ака до Емілі: «The only person you’ve hurt is yourself»

ЕПІЛОГ і сендвіч. Останні кадри, із композиційною аркою до першої частини, підсилюють мою впевненість у трактовці фільму: R.M.F. (читаємо, росія) за блакитним столом біля жовтої будки (тобто, на території України) намагається з’їсти сендвіч (символ територіальних претензій) при цьому замастившись кривавим кетчупом (із сотнями тисяч жертв).

«Kinds of kindness» Йоргоса Лантімоса - унікальний фільм. Його герої жили, живуть та будуть жити та взаємодіяти поза межами екрану. А все, що відбуватиметься у світі надалі можна розглядати як продовження цього фільму із запропонованим режисером ансамблем акторів.

Part 3 - R.M.F. EATS A SANDWICH

Spoiler and conclusions:

An incredibly fascinating story about Ukraine's search for a Messiah, a person who can revive and wake up the dead Russia. Let me remind you that it was R.M.F. (Russia) who was run over twice by Robert's car at the end of Part 1, and it was he who, in Part 3, was revived by Ruth, one of the twins.

Emily is Ukraine

Omi is the USA

Aka is China

Susan is France

Ruth and Rebecca are the Navalny couple

Water is global financial flows

Susan's contamination, and later Emily's, is corruption within France and Ukraine.

Now let's go into more detail:

About Ukraine or Emily (Emma Stone's character): she is nervous. She is in a hurry. She speeds and skids while driving. She left her home in search of a person who can reanimate the dead. She can return home only when she finds them. She depends on the water provided by Aka and Omi. She sprinkles the same water on her child's bed as if it were holy water.

This is exactly what Ukraine is like now. She runs out of time. People die every day, the country is dying. She depends on financial assistance from her partners. She drives a car with license plates XNC T62, where XNC is a symbol of an advanced digitalized country (XNC is XeniosCoin cryptocurrency), and T62 is the name of an old Soviet tank, a symbol of the USSR’s outdated legacy. She looks for different options for salvation. One option for salvation was (futile and irrelevant, in hindsight) an attempt to get through to the Russians, to find a leader who could renew Russia, change its course, give it a chance to be resurrected and build the “Beautiful Russia of the Future” they dreamed of. The Navalny couple was supposed to become such leaders. Ruth's death at the end of the film embodies the impotence and the failure of the Russian liberal opposition.

Why do I compare the twins to the Navalny couple?

·        First of all, the story that to become the Chosen One the other twin must die coincides with the events of last year. Yulia Navalnaya would have a chance to become a leader only if her husband was gone. And he was. Even twice (just like in the film). The first time, Rebecca jumped into an empty pool at a bachelorette party—the first unsuccessful attempt by the Russian authorities to poison Alexei Navalny. The second time, Rebecca's voluntary decision to kill herself is quite reminiscent of Navalny's conscious decision to return to Russia where death awaited him;

·        Secondly, the director's hint at height and weight. What was the purpose of the scene with Mr. Weber? Both of his twin daughters had died and it didn't seem to make sense to go to him. But it did. Because that's how we learn that the Chosen One's measurements are 5'9" (175 cm) and around 130 pounds (59 kg). According to Wikipedia, Yulia Navalnaya is 175 cm tall. There’s no mention of her weight, but she looks like she might fit the bill.

·        Thirdly, as they say in Russia, “Husband and wife are one Satan.” People who have been married for a long time really become like twins, two halves of a whole;

·        Fourthly, a very subjective observation, there’s some resemblance between the character, her hairstyle and hair color, and Navalnaya;

·        I will add that it’s not a coincidence that names Rebecca and Ruth begin with R. This connects them to the characters of Part 1 of the film. This R is a way to mark the image of Russia in the film.

The semantics of water, in my opinion, are related to global financial flows. In Part 3, water is everywhere:

·        Water is used to fill a tub from the World Ocean. In an incredible scene two figures, Omi and Aka, stand opposite each other next to a round tub of the Earth as leaders of opposite parts of the world (USA—China);

·        A yacht with the wateriest name H-O-H (also could be written H2O) is already in the water for the Chosen One;

·        Water is distributed to those in need (including Ukraine, though in very small volumes);

·        The bust of the Chosen One will be made of ice;

·        Water purifies. The water comes out with the sweat in the sauna and restores from the inside out, as in the case of Susan. Susan's (France) contamination and Emily's (Ukraine) contamination are problems of the same order. The name of those problems is corruption. Let's recall the major corruption scandals in France involving N. Sarkozy;

·        Water contaminates. In Emily's case, she becomes contaminated through her husband's semen (which is 90% water). He rapes her in their shared home. That is, while some people are looking for salvation for the whole country, the others are destroying it from inside with their corrupt schemes undermining the world’s trust. What do we see on the screen? Emily's unsuccessful attempt to purify herself in the sauna. What do we see in reality? Failed attempts to overcome corruption in Ukraine. The scary thing, in my opinion, is the possibility of being left alone to face both the outside enemy and the corrupt enemy inside. This is what Emily is telling her daughter, she asks her to stay as far away from her father as possible because he is contaminated. His semen, his sweat, all the water inside him is contaminated!

In conclusion, I will quote Aka to Emily: “The only person you've hurt is yourself.”

An epilogue and a sandwich. The final shots, their composition overarching back to Part 1, strengthen my confidence in my interpretation of the film: R.M.F. (i.e. Russia) sits at a blue table next to a yellow booth (i.e. in the territory of Ukraine) trying to eat a sandwich (i.e. territorial claims) splashing himself with blood-red ketchup (i.e. hundreds of thousands of victims).

Kinds of Kindness is a unique film. The characters live and interact beyond the screen. From now on, everything that happens in the world I will imagine as a continuation of this film with the incredible ensemble of actors brought together by the director.
